Stuck at home?!? Plan your study abroad dream trip!

Here are a few ideas for planning your future study abroad trip while stuck at home:

1. Spend time learning about study abroad locations

Search the internet for destinations and learn about other students’ experiences abroad. You can also look at https://global.okstate.edu/studyabroad/osu_study_abroad/ to browse programs and details specific to your interests.

2. Start a Pinterest board

Get inspired! Gather photos, travel related quotes, and recipes that get you dreaming about your future study abroad trip. Don't forget to add a few practical pins for budgeting and packing tips.

3. Discover your program on YouTube

Surf YouTube for glimpses of your dream study abroad experience. Search for YouTube travel bloggers to help start your list of your must-see sites.

4. Read books inspired by travel

Download e-books and audiobooks with travel themes! Many libraries offer the option to remotely check out e-books from their catalog. Goodreads has a great list of travel inspiration books to get you started.

5. Learn the local lingo

Check out free trial on apps like Babbel or Duolingo. It’s the perfect time to start learning a new language, or keep your language skills sharp. If you've feeling really adventurous, try reading online newspapers in that language or binge watching some international movies and television shows.

6. Make an international recipe book

Stuck inside and need some inspiration? Find recipes from around the world!

But...whatever you do, don’t let being stuck inside stop you from dreaming about studying abroad! /ml
